About Project

Haunting is an interactive, multi-sensory installation that reflects the delicate and often invisible work carried out by Labanof — the Laboratory of Forensic Anthropology and Odontology in Milan, dedicated to identifying missing persons and restoring identity to the unknown. Visitors step into the role of a telephone operator, listening to the desperate calls of relatives searching for their loved ones. Through sound, light, and reactive media, Haunting turns the act of listening into a symbolic gesture of care, empathy, and remembrance.
